“Fort Ord, closed in 1994, is a former United States Army post in the Monterey Bay area on the Pacific coast of California. The Old Atlanta Prison Farm has been slowly rotting away for the last two and a half decades having been in operation until about 1995 and almost completely burned down in 2009. These shots were taken with an Infrared Converted camera therefore the unique color palette.”

Richard Greene's career as a bluegrass and classical violinist spanned non-stop from 1960 to 2013, a world-wide touring musician, recording artist and educator. His four primary musical goals have always been Expression, Innovation, Technique and Composition. In applying these same intentions to his photography, he finds the creation of musical and photographic works are quite the same, both depend entirely on the artistic placement of available or sometimes imagined elements.
